(no subject)

I seem to have come down with The Plague at some point last night, as my head is all stuffed up and gross feeling. Ick. Good think I cooked up some soup for lunches yesterday! Barley and veggies is about all I can handle right now.

So this weekend involved some quality time with my girls. We talked, cooed at aquarianna6's uber-cute little baby, talked more, ate lots of food, and drank tequila. Drew and I also viewed some fine cinematic entertainment, in the way of The 40-Year Old Virgin and Transporter 2.

So I finished The Subtle Knife last night and have started on Amber Spyglass. I think I'm going to have to seek out everything else Philip Pullman has written once I'm done with these, I'm addicted. I should also finish Salt: A World History at some point, as I only have 2 more chapters to go. I have a problem with actually finishing books, I kind of get distracted and flit on to others before I finish lots of them.
