well, if it makes you feel any better, my alterations were more than twice (ouch... a LOT more than twice) yours because I procrastinated too long.

That said... if you only see the one loop of ribbon under the train, then she probably did an over-bustle... in which case you'd need to find the threads/whatever on the top part of the train. I'd say call her. Unless it's just one attachment, there's probably an order as well. I concur with mrs.muffin that the seamstress really should have gone over it with you.
