This weekend involved a good deal of domesticity, but it's the season for spending a day baking bread and then spending a day on the couch with dvds. Though I now have a serious OZ addiction problem. We spent all day yesterday finishing up Season 3 and getting into Season 4. I think I've become a little desensitized to the super-violence, but the story arc of the 2 guys involved in Hot Man Kisses is right up there with the Buffy/Spike story arc on BtVS. It's very squee-tastic. I am such a fangirl. I think the problem lies in discovering the internet fandom universe for the show- when others share your addiction it's much easier to keep it going.

Saturday was my bread-baking day, as I had to get a couple of loaves of pumpkin walnut focaccia together for a fall dinner/wine tasting with Beck, Nat, and their crew. It was a huge amount of fun, and I realize that I really need to be better about being in touch with those ladies for non-brunchy get-togethers.

Lastly, Friday we went to see Serenity, which rocked my socks off. So good! I'd even see it again... but on tv, I can't afford to see movies twice in the theater. So that's that.

Oh my.

I can't really pick a day yet. We're closing up the cottage this weekend and I wanted to help out but that will depend on what day is best, weather-wise. Can we play it by ear?
