Definitely not my favorite, but not as bad I was worried it would be from what I'd heard/seen about it online. The last 200 pages or so are really good. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll hold off any more thoughts until you read it!

How is Eclipse coming? Are you liking Edward more now?

Must.... stay.... away... from... fanfiction. It is so tempting to get caught up in, but most of the fic out there is written in even more purple prose than the books!

It is so true, though! Also, there are weird fandom nomenclatures that I don't understand. What the hell does "lemon" mean in the context of dirty fic?

A bit better now. I'm about 300 pages in. He still annoys me, or maybe it's more Bella for not standing up for herself. I mean, he's a vampire who is used to getting his way, he's going to be pushy, but she needs to continue to push back. I'm just happy they are having her do that much. I think she should just be a bit more angry about it. Does anything ever make her feelings for Edward waver? Sheesh. By now she should be able to see some flaws. But despite that I'll still enjoying the book and I'm happy to hear that the end of the series has some positives about it. It could easily have been extremely disappointing.
