So the other day West told a joke! We were going back home after a trip to the store and he said we were going to Blueberry Street and then cackled. OMG he is such a little person with his own thoughts! Sometimes that blows my mind a little bit. Ok, often it blows my mind a lot. And then sometimes I wish he would just not be his own person for a while, like at bedtime when he suddenly turns into a tornado of ACTIVITY and all I want to do is sit down and read some fireman books for the fifty gazillionith time. He has over two hundred books and I still end up reading the same 5 books all the time.

His egg routine: he takes random pretend food objects from his little kitchen and says "is this an egg?" and giggles hysterically because of course not it an egg! Repeat about twenty times in a row. Kid's a comedien!
