Album That You Love That's Completely Underrated And Unheard Of:
Sarge- The Glass Intact/Distant;The Reputation- s/t
The former and current band of Elizabeth Elmore, a little indie rock chick from Chicago who writes the catchiest songs with smart lyrics. Sure they're all about boys and heartache, but so good! One of my all-time favorite bands.
Album That You Know You Should Be Embarrassed About But Love Anyway:
Dido- s/t I love her voice, and this album was the soundtrack to a good part of my senior year of college.
Third Eye Blind- their first album. Try not to sing along! Try it! You can't stop! (I am hanging my head in shame, don't worry)
Albums That Are Like Breathing, They're That Natural:
Spinanes- Arches & Aisles; Sleater-Kinney- Call the Doctor; Sonic Youth- Dirty; Belly- Star
I've loved them so long. They're a part of me. All flawless albums.
Albums That You Rarely Listen To But Need To Be There:
NIN- Downward Spiral God help me if I actually feel the need to listen to this for more than the "'member when" factor. But I can't get rid of it. Also all the SYR recordings. There I said it.
The Worst Album You Ever Paid Money For:
Whatever the last Ani DiFranco cd I bought was. Not a bad album, just not at all what I was interested in hearing. I think it was the one after To The Teeth.
