i'm offically sick of library school. it's boring. but i do hope that simmons will send me that student loan check soon.

last night my roommate and i kept the tv on while we were reading (i don't know why we didn't just turn the thing off), and there was this show on mtv that was...interesting. some girl was talking about starting a zine just to meet green day. and then meeting blink-182, and having sex with her boyfriend in blink-182's bus, with the band watching. and that was the greatest day of her life. there was also a crazy guy who's best day was when madonna called him a fat pig. where do they find these people?

i just read that The Skinny, which was the only cool club in Portland (Maine), is closing in Feb. it looks like they're trying to find a new location, but that space was just so great. i haven't been there in a while, but still, it's sad to see a good venue go. especially in a place that's desperate for good venues to begin with.
