May. 1st, 2003 10:22 amWow, I really intended to cruise through a bunch of work this morning, but looking at the clock, I have no idea where the last two hours went.
So yesterday was quite good, despite the fact that between my ATM trip at lunchtime and opening my wallet after work I managed to lose $40. No clue as to where it went, it must have fallen out when I bought my strawberries for lunch. They were good strawberries, but not $40 strawberries. eye_abstains and I ended up at the cheap/free beer NERAX thing, I suppose it all evened out in the end. Besides, maybe someone who needed $40 more than I do picked it up, and now they're happy. Wait, I work at the Business School, I don't think there are many around here who need $40 more than I do. C'est la vie.
The beer thing was a good time, thanks to the ever-charmingkomos, cosmicserpent, and ta_chuang and a couple of other lj-ers whose usernames I don't remember. I think I might even be figuring out this beer snob thing.
So, thusly, I am happy. My hair smells like boy, my eyebrow appears to be growing back in after a zealous-plucking disaster a week or so ago, and though it might rain today I wouldn't mind a nice rainy walk to the T later.
