Ok, so this weekend was overall quite lovely, you can read about it here: eye_abstains. Except Friday I did not get my geek on, rather, Tenille and I rented a couple of volumes of Queer as Folk, got chinese food, and lolled about. I *heart* QaF, it's such a great show.
Yesterday Christine came to visit. We walked around the [disappointing] Octoberfest, looking for beer, but there was no beer. So we went to Grafton Street for said Beer, but couldn't get seats at the bar. We then went to John Harvard's, where they would not serve Miss Christine, as she had forgotten her ID at her parents' house. So we went to Redline, where I am well known enough such that we didn't get carded, and we settled in for drinkin'. Drew and Mikesell joined us, and talk of politics ensued. Mentally, I think I checked out about an hour before we left, as I ended up feeling like I was "marching drunk" without the hilarious marching. And I'm still hungover right now. Good lord.

Am stuffed full of German food and tasty beer.
Will be volunteering for something that involves serving people beer and then lolling in a hot tub while suckas go ski.
Our bunnies are Seriously the cutest things ever. Seriously. I'll totally cut ya if you disagree.
And, um, I really like that I can putz around on my computer and have moments of Drew silliness interjected randomly.
We seriously need to have a housewarming Tiki party sometime soon so I can give y'all silly drinks with little umbrellas in them.
