Jan. 14th, 2004 03:39 pmNo one is allowed to get sick anymore!
So I took half the day off to go to the doctor about this annoying persistent cough. I broke after my boss starting commenting a few times a day that I should drink OJ and tea. I think it was annoying the crap out of her. Anyway, so while I was indeed infected with something at some point, I am apparantly not anymore. But my lungs, being s-m-r-t (I mean s-m-a-r-t), have somehow remained irritated as all get out. So I've got prescriptions for a couple of inhalers, but am not entirely sure if I feel like pumping steriods into my lungs for a few weeks if there's nothing really germy in there. Ick. I hate being sick. Rather, what I want to avoid is being one of those people who constantly has something wrong. I admit that I never quite got back to 100% normal since the bout with the ephedra/red bull/pseudoephedrine cocktails I was consuming last year...but at least I can usually sleep through the night now.
