Our day of hookey and trip to Salem was exactly what I needed today. I don't realize how constantly rushed and pressured I feel during a normal day, and a day without any timetable, schedule, or places to be was so relaxing. We hit the museum (free thanks to Fleet bank), had a leisurely lunch on an outside patio, rambled about the town, stopped in touristy shoppes, and visited a friendly little bar where a stranger started talking to us because of the book I was reading ("Kitchen Confidential," which I'll probably finish within a day, I can't put it down).
I just made a tasty dinner, and am going to chill with a book and the bunnies.
Feeling so very content.
