Aug. 23rd, 2004 01:12 pmWell, it was indeed a weekend. Wait- it was a good weekend!
Yesterday we hitched a ride with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
komos, wisdom_seeker and jawalter to RI for a birthday/bbq bash at cspariah's place. It was really nice to see some folks I hadn't seen in a while. We then had a Providence Experience, which is on par with every frickin' time I go to Providence (i.e. various stages of "getting lost" occur), which did result in tasty dinner and relaxing with good conversation and beer. We sang a terribly inappropriate song over and over, and Drew taught us naive ones the meaning of some truly horrific pop-culture tidbits (I'm not sure if it counts as pop-culture, but it does count as horrific).
Saturday was consumed by the Beer Summit volunteer party, which was, as always, a blast. Now to feul my newfound Ali G Show obsession.... oh, HBO, you are my friend.
Friday, went out to dinner with some friends from an old job, which was quite nice. Planning annoyances notwithstanding, it ended up being a good night, as any night spent bar hopping with Drew tends to be (awwwwww).
Grens had once again escaped from her cage this morning, and was sitting on the box of hay munching happily when I poked my head in the room. She's a smart little rabbit.
