Jan. 10th, 2011 09:04 amWe took West to the Peabody Essex Museum this weekend to check out the "Treasures from the Forbidden City" exhibit, and he was an absolute joy the entire time. I put him in the Action Baby Carrier and he just looked around wide-eyed at everything. Barely a peep until some lights overhead coaxed a coo out of him, and he even took a nap for a while when he got tired. That baby carrier is awesome.
His teething is really bothering him, though, yesterday afternoon was awash in tears until I gave him some baby tylenol. And lo, it worked like magic. He also slept super well last night, was only up twice and didn't fuss after either feeding. I really hope he starts a sleeping better trend, I desperately need to start working out in the mornings, but to do that I need to wake up at 4:45 or so, and I can't wake up that early if I'm getting up more than once a night. I can't wait for spring, it would be so much easier if I could just put West in the carrier or jogging stroller and go out for a walk in the evenings.
Oh, and he totally rolled over this weekend! We think he used a velcro strap on his play gym to leverage himself over, because we couldn't get a repeat performance without some assistance, but still- he was on his back playing, I turned around to dig some clothes out of storage, and when I looked again he was on his tummy!
