Dec. 19th, 2011 08:57 amWest slept through the night! The whole night, all in the pack & play, none of it in our bed! ZOMG. It may have been the hour and a half at Mall Tots that finally exhausted him completely. Of course, I woke up on an off all night, so I still haven't slept through the night in too long to count, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
So yesterday we took West to the aforementioned Mall Tots to run around, since it was way too cold for the playground. Then we looked at doggies in the pet store. After that, we were walking with him through the mall, each holding one of his hands, and he looked up at us with the most blissed out smile. It was one of those bottle it moments I'm going to hang on to the next time he totally freaks out about something ridiculous.
Babysitter Saturday night was totally successful. He went to sleep with no fussing, and actually sat on her lap for bedtime stories (I usually read to him while he wanders around because he's not a huge fan of sitting still). Expensive, but well worth it for the chance to socialize with our full attention.
