My freaking head is about explode from the *@#@$#!$% incomptence of the Somerville parking department. The ticket we got for "not having a residential parking sticker" when we clearly did have a residential parking sticker is haunting me yet again. I went in with the ticket to get it cleared up, was told it would be taken care of. I asked the clerk if she needed to come outside to see the sticker in my car, she said no. Now it turns out that because some lazy ass city employee didn't want to go outside in the cold to see the sticker, I'm dealing with hassle. Not only that, but apparantly the sticker they issued me in February that says "expires last day of Feb. 2007" wasn't good until the first of March. WTF?! So apparantly the sticker we had on the car in Feb., when we got the ticket, wasn't valid. But I was supposed to know this how? How is a sticker that clearly says it expires in 2007 NOT GOOD IN 2006? Why would they issue me a sticker that wasn't valid?
So now I have to actually go in for a fracking hearing on a fracking Thursday night to deal with these horrible, horrible people. And the person I was talking to on the phone was yelling at me.
This is a no-good, bad day. Rawwwr.
