Nah, by the time I get home and eat dinner I need to book some quality time with the little one, and I'm not feeling super fan-ish enough for it.
Emergency vet visit, oh no! Is Minnie Moo ok?
I didn't cry this morning! That's a start! It feels really good to be in the moment at work, and the day goes by really fast. I am really enjoying my train time for reading, too (I'm working on the latest installment of Lady Julia and Brisbane- he has not been prowling around like a cat yet... and in a week or two there's a new Lady Emily and Colin Hargreaves book coming out!). I just wish there were more hours in the day for work and baby cuddles in equal proportion. Sigh. But Anna gave me a digital subscription to Mothering magazine, and I spent some time today perusing the working moms forum, it helps to read lots of other people feeling the same conflicted feelings about working and babies. I'm trying really hard to believe that it's quality of time, not quantity.
