I don't mean to make any implications about stress levels with kids and potty learning. I just feel that as they reach certain milestones, it's possible they feel a little stressed about it. As hard as it is for us to see them growing up so fast, I think it can be tough on them, too, because they enjoy being the baby. You know what I mean? It's exciting and new, and it's fun because it demonstrates this development of independence, and mom and dad are so proud. But, at the same time, that means growing up and being a big boy or a big girl ... and that can maybe be a little bit scary.
