wildflowersoulOk, I am legitimately psyched about my Birchbox this month. Onward.
August's box:
First, we have an actual full size lipstick in a color that looks to be the right shade for me. Score! It's Model Co party proof matte lipstick.
Next there is a small bottle of argan oil. This stuff smoothes my dry hair like nobody's business, but I am too cheap to ever buy it, so I love getting samples of it.
There's a generous tube of Juice Beauty oil-free moisturizer. I love trying new skin products and can never get enough moisturizers, so I am excited about this.
Some foot wipes, which I am actually really excited about, and have been hoping to get some ever since I watched Birchbox's August spoilers video. I have... stinky feet problems.
The extra is the Miss Jessie's shampoo. They have been bombarding me with this brand, but hey free shampoo is free shampoo.
July's box:
This box was a bit of an uneven bummer. The one thing I liked I really really liked, though, and I figure if I get one super hit out of a box then I can't be too bummed. The super hit was the WEI purifying mud mask. That stuff smells awesome and made my face glow after using it. I actually ended up buying a full size package because I had a good convergence of points and something I wanted from the bonus shop.
There were some WEI pomegranate buffing beads that are not bad, but they are kind of a pain to use. You have to mix them in with a cleanser and they are more like sand than beads.
I was excited for the Benefit Hello Flawless cc cream, but it was a shade waaaaaay too dark for me, so I gave it away to fellow birchboxer![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
starflow. Also given away was the self-tanning lotion because I don't self tan. Or tan tan. I do not do anything but glow in a phosphorescent paleness.
Lastly, there was a leave-in conditioner spray that was nice enough to earn a place in my travel kit, but it doesn't hold a candle the other leave-in I discovered on BB.
So that's the past two months.
