Big sigh of relaxation.

I feel like I didn't really have a weekend, but I did, and it was

Friday night we had some folks over for some low-key hanging out and whatnot. It was very nice, I'm a very big fan of spending Friday nights with some beer and good company. Going out is all fine and good, but cheap nights are just as good. I do still have a bit of a hankering for Tiki, so I think I may try to drag folks to Kowloons at some point (ok, some point right now is probably July, since I don't envision having the time and money to head out to Rte. 1 before the wedding). I also really want to see what that tiki-ish room at East Coast Grill is like.

So anyway, Sat. morning I got up bright and early to pick up tenillypo and head to Lewiston. We met up mrs_muffin and incandes_flower for aquarianna6's surprise baby shower. So many cute baby things! I need to buy more cute baby things. Besides, they make lots of cute bunny things for babies, and if there's one thing I love, it's bunnies. We watched way too much OC (and more to come for some of us, I'm itching to break out that dvd set! Ladies, and you know who you are, let me know when you want to watch more). We drank some Arbor Mist, and I found out that I really, really suck at charades. Oh, and aquarianna6, I heard "Hollaback Girl" 3 times on my drive home yesterday, I hope you caught it! Bates girls (including doplar who I can't wait to see in a month!), I *heart* you guys!!

Sunday I woke up insanely early and went to my dad's to talk wedding stuff. It's all coming together so easily. I feel like it should be more difficult, but it's really not. spacedthekeys visited, which was very nice. I went to visit my grandparents after that. I am such a horrible person, it's been at least 2 years since I've visited my mom's parents. My grandmother was so happy to see me, it broke my heart a bit to see that just a little half hour visit meant that much. I'll have to make more of an effort to stop by to see them when I go through town.
