Billy Madison is on Comedy Central and it's amusing me. Especially seeing this guy from The West Wing as the villan.

So we had an awesome Pre-Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Extravaganza yesterday that was the best thing ever. Y'all brought some amazing food! Good food, good company... I believe there was some arm wrestling going on (I woke up with my elbow aching and was very confused about that until I remembered the arm wrestling). So I cooked a big old turkey for the first time, and it came out super tasty. That pleases me.

Harry Potter was pretty freakin' awesome on Friday. Very entertaining flick. I'm looking forward to seeing Rent when it comes out, if I can convince anyone to go with me.

So that's that.

It sounds great! I wish we could have made it--this time of year, it seems there's so much going on that it's easy to end up with overlapping engagements. Hopefully, we'll get to join you all in some festivities soon!

In other news, do you have a rolling pin and rolling sheet you'd be willing to let me borrow? I want to make those flaky dinner rolls in November's cooking light, but don't have the tools.

I have a rolling pin that you can borrow, but I don't have a rolling sheet. I usually just put some wax paper down on a counter when I need to roll things out, and it usually works pretty well. Just let me know when you want to come to get it!

Oh, and we have to give you back your Arrested Development dvds and re-claim our Carnivale dvds from ya at some point.

How strange! I didn't get this reply in my email. I hate it when LJ burps like that.

That sounds dandy! I figured there must be some other way to do the rolling without the plastic sheet. We have some parchment paper, so that should do. Would it be feasible for me to take the train up to Davis after work? That would put me at your place between 5:30 and 6:00.

Yikes! I need to finish watching the Carnivale DVDs! There'll be lots of time this week/weekend!
