tenillypo, who was in turn inspired by the Joss Whedon blog, I have compiled a list of my top 25 tv characters.

To be fair, I'd have to say this is more of a "my favorites" than "best ever" list, as there are plenty of excellent characters from shows I haven't watched much of, and therefore wouldn't add to my list (Al Swearingon, I'm looking at you). I've included animated characters because I think they totally count as tv characters.

Hee. I think our lists have overlap in several crucial places. I'm still waffling on mine, though. Jordan Catalano forever! :-)

I actually had a hard time with this, as there are plenty of shows I've liked, but there are fewer characters who really stand out as excellent characters above and beyond the show.

Yeha. And a lot of characters I thought of, I realized I enjoyed only as part of a couple. Hmm...favorite couples of all time...I may be e-mailing you shortly to discuss...

I'm so glad to see Uncle Travelling Matt on that list! Maybe I'll have to make a list of my own. (Even with all the official paper signing, inspections and giving away of most of our money, I *still* have time to twiddle my thumbs!)

I loved him! The scenes of Traveling Matt out and about were always my favorite. =)

I stopped watching O.C. after Season 2, but my Julie love almost made me stay. I still miss her.
