Inspired by the loverly Ms. tenillypo, who was in turn inspired by the Joss Whedon blog, I have compiled a list of my top 25 tv characters.

To be fair, I'd have to say this is more of a "my favorites" than "best ever" list, as there are plenty of excellent characters from shows I haven't watched much of, and therefore wouldn't add to my list (Al Swearingon, I'm looking at you). I've included animated characters because I think they totally count as tv characters.
