Yesterday I skipped kung-fu in favor of sitting on the porch with shandies reading comic books. I think it was a wise tradeoff. I inducted myself into comic book nerdom by purchasing not just Supernatural: Origins, but also two issues of the Buffy season 8 comic. Though they were out of stock on issue #2, so my pre-class mission tonight is to obtain #2. I also read one of Drew's comics called "The Last Man" or something like that, and it was pretty good. Shocking. I made some jerk chicken, coleslaw, and cornbread for dinner, and we watched Venture Brothers until I fell asleep. That was a fine evening.

Who doesn't love comics about an out of work English Major who spends his free time training monkeys and learning escape-artistry?

If you get to the point where you want to continue that story line beyond what Drew's got for Trades, I have the rest.

What do you think about Buffy?

And more importantly...are you going to class tonight?

Class: yes indeedy. Though I'll be skipping on the 24th in a few weeks because, uh.... I want to be home to watch the season finale of Supernatural in HD. We'll be at Charlie's Kitchen for a while, otherwise I can pick you up on Brattle St. at the usual spot.

Buffy: Loving it! Totally. Though it does make me yearn to watch some old school Buffy now.

Class: According to my math we're on class five tonight. It would be six but damn Stan and his play! In theory the 31st should be our last class, but with the make up.

I have to tell you, my motivation is starting to slip something hardcore.

Heh. My motivation is rapidly decreasing as well. But.... we should go for a few more classes at least. I suspect that the nice weather is going to be drawing folks away from the class steadily through May. But my arm can easily be twisted to make next week's class my last class. I suck at school, I'm such a class-skipper.

Don't get me wrong, I like the theater sport stuff and the scene stuff...I just don't know how much more Stan I can handle.

I'm sorry, you can't have a master's degree and suck at school. It's not allowed. Or if it is then you're on the list of Most Overachieving Underachievers.
