Youtube: making it easier for moms to cut fingernails and wrangle little feet into socks & shoes. Let me recommend Googly Eyes and Feist counting to 4 to all you moms out there. We are giving in to the lure of the tv. Purchased a few Thomas and Elmo dvds this past weekend. Sometimes you just need a break, y'know?

We continue to use Yo Gabba Gabba via netflix on demand for dinner every single night. He just can't sit still long enough to eat full meal otherwise. He will sometimes watch Thomas or Sesame Street.

Last week I also gave in to the allure of chicken nuggets and it was the most relaxing we've had in months! Chicken nuggets and store bought sweet potato fries!

Thanks for the video recommendations. We do nail clipping when I nurse him at night but could use some help for diaper changes because those have become completely impossible! It's awful!

Heh, we put the Daily Show on for dinner, though we may need to try Yo Gabba Gabba. Chicken nuggets are so worth it for the fuss free dinner. I haven't been able to successfully get a sweet potato fry down West's gullet, lucky you! Ham and mashed potatoes are a big hit for us. And hot dogs... maybe it's a salty food thing?

I've thought about nail clipping while nursing but I'm too scared of getting bit. Now that it's been a while since the last biting stage I don't think I can handle it if I start getting nip-bit again. I hear you on the diaper changes, sometimes frantic peekaboo and tickling helps, but it's usually a nightmare. Sometimes, though, he yells "my turkey thighs!" because we like to squeeze his thighs and say "turkey thighs"... his daycare teachers must think we're nuts.

I don't get bit during the nail clipping. He's strangely fascinated with the clippers and just watches the whole time. I get bit plenty of other times though, ouch.

Question, Did West start wanting to nurse way more frequently after 16 months or so?Parker wants to nurse constantly and I think it's just because it relaxes him. But I really liked not nursing at all during the day anymore! He throws a tantrum every time I say no!

Yes, around that time he was nursing all.the.damn.time. He's cut way down now and is nursing about 3-4 times total all day. It was a relatively short phase. I so can't wait to wean completely!

That's good to know! I want to wean so bad but he's totally obsessed.
