West has figured out how to open car doors. From the inside. While sitting in his car seat in a moving car. o_O I could have lived without that excitement this morning.

Toddlers are equal parts cuteness and destruction on legs.

(Does your car have the child lock feature? I hate cars that will open the door even if the doors are locked (regular lock, not child lock.)) Really, there ought to be a safety override that the car locks the doors when it's in gear.

That must have been quite an adrenalin rush!

Our normal car does, the rental we've been in for a couple of weeks (while our bumper is getting fixed) does not. Luckily it's a short drive to daycare (though obviously I stopped to close the door!).

Holy shit, West!

Reminds me of a story my Nana told me about my Uncle opening the door to a van while it was in motion and she literally had to grab him by the suspenders to keep him from falling out the moving vehicle.

At least you've got, you know, seatbelts and carseats in this modern day and age.
