I started watching Girls last night (even though I should have been writing for Metafilter's JanNoWriMo, OMG writing is hard), it's better than I expected it to be. Very cringey and kind of giving me early 20s flashback hives, but it's pretty entertaining.

You know, I went to Portland once and was a little let down by it (so many people told me how much I would LOVE IT, it would have been hard to live up to that hype, and I think I'm more of a NYC/Boston girl), but if we had the money I would definitely want to visit you! I don't know when we'll have money for vacations, though, I am still contemplating joining the army to pay off my student loans...
