I've been waiting to see if any particular stuffed animals would take off with West as special bed time stuffies. Pooh bear? Nah. Bunny from the local toy store? Nah. Miscellaneous other bunnies and bears? Nope. Panda? Yes. Of course it's the panda from the zoo in Bejing that is going to be impossible to replace if calamity ever strikes it.
Edit: Dang it, had another possible ghost situation this morning. We have a little potty on the floor of the upstairs bathroom for West, it's one of
these Baby Bjorn deals with an inner receptacle. It was, as far as I know, on the floor next to the shower, intact. I was showering and heard a big bang clatter, like some stuff was falling off the sink counter or something. I looked out and saw nothing amiss, except the inner receptacle of the potty was now lying on the floor next to the outer part of the potty. It does not appear that anything else fell, so I can't figure out how on earth that situation happened. Seriously?!
Second edit: There was a giant spider in the kitchen later this morning. Like, a giant one that was all muscley and fierce and outside-looking. Drew suggests that it could be the culprit behind the potty knock-over. Quite frankly, it was big enough that it's a possibility, but that would mean I was alone in the bathroom with that giant scary spider
without my glasses on. I like the ghost theory better.
